About Our Founder

Felicity was born in a small country town in Central Queensland and although her family moved to Brisbane when she was young, country life left an imprint on her.  Her parents and siblings shared fond memories of their friends, the land and quirky country pets. 

With close ties still to her birth town, Felicity started travelling back there in her teen years. Australia’s rural lands have proven to be an endless point of admiration and fascination.  The bush, the land, and the animals are amazing. But the people are outstanding in their resilience, resourcefulness, and friendliness.

Felicity now travels to Australia’s rural areas whenever possible with her own family.  She is always struck by its harshness, remoteness, and never-ending beauty.
